Chloe Gordon has practiced yoga for over 15 years and holds two 200-hour registered yoga teacher certificates. Her first certificate was earned in 2015 with Tymi Howard and Steve Ross, emphasizing Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, Gentle Yoga, and Meditation. Chloe's second 200-hour RYT certificate was earned in 2016 with Mark White, emphasizing Baron Baptiste-style Power Yoga.
Chloe completed a 50 Yin Yoga Training in 2019 with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts at Semperviva Yoga, Vancouver, Canada. Chloe has traveled and practiced yoga and meditation in such faraway locals as Peru, India, Thailand, and Mexico. Chloe is an active member of the Yoga Alliance Foundation. This international nonprofit organization serves the public's interest and hosts developmental activities centering around yoga practice.Chloe is very passionate about music and its relationship to yoga. Her favorite is Bhakti music and chanting.
Cortney
Cortney Singleton is a yoga instructor and acupuncture physician who has dedicated her adult life to improving the wellness of her students and patients. She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years, spending the last 11 at Orlando Power Yoga. Cortney received her formal teacher certification with Integrative Yoga in 2001 and Power Pilates Level 1 in 2005 and has been teaching yoga ever since. She offers a unique approach to health and healing through Chinese medicine, Acupuncture and yoga pranayama. Cortney Spent years seeking to master the energetics of how to negotiate chi through the body. Overall, she looks to offer her students a holistic approach to wellness Cortney’s varied approach mixing Pilates, yoga and acupuncture offers a way for her students and clients to address chronic body pain, acute injury, inflammation, respiratory issues, headaches, gynecological problems and emotional disorders. With this inspiration, Cortney has traveled the world as equal part seeker and teacher. She was part of teams that lead a 31 one person retreat across the Aegean Sea, landing on five Greek islands practicing yoga in some of the most breathtaking spots on earth. With this approach, it is not always about beautiful surroundings... there is also work to be done.
She joined the Give Surf Love team on a mission trip to Panama. Their small group worked with the local community. In exchange for leading yoga practice and, they worked with the residents to build a school and teach the students English. They might have fit in some time for some surfing as well. Later, as part of the Surfing in the 60s team, she was part of a group who not only practiced yoga on the shores of El Salvador, but also brought medical and building supplies to help construct an orphanage and contribute to the local community. It’s a pretty good day when you can practice yoga as the sun comes up.. build something to help those in need through the day... the surf to close it out as the sun goes down. Cortney’s good work did not go unnoticed. She was hired by the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia in 2006 to teach Pilates to members of the royal family and other instructors from around the world. She was not only providing the training but also designed and outfitted the Pilates facilities throughout the palace. Her students came from Russian, Germany, Australia and even included an Olympic fencing champion seeking the next phase in her life.
Cortney earned her master's degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at The Florida College of Integrative Medicine. Every body she encounters receives a specialized treatment whether it be yoga, acupuncture, Thai yoga and Chinese massage, cupping, pranayama or meditation. She has lead Yoga and Pilates trainings across the United States, Latin America and the Middle East with some of the leading figures in the yoga universe. Cortney’s influences include Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn and Dharma Mittra.
